What a prick in the Merc, straight line hero. He should be banned for blocking a clearly faster car from passing.
I've had similar in this country to be fair. One day at Cadwell a year or two ago had a chap in a Cobra replica with what I can only presume was some form of modern American V8. Handle like a box of turd on all corner including the back end falling out with the front end at speeds 20mph lower than I could take them safely with a bit of margin for error in the Clio. Ended up following him for a good lap or two with a train of cars following behind because he just booted it on the straights, and we seemed to have marshals half asleep. Absolute cnut and very nearly went and had words, but I was overcome with Britishness and avoided further conflict. He seemed to then avoid the track for the rest of the day presumably following his man vegetables shrivelling as he was was the slowest car there with easily the largest displacement.
Great vid kept the lines and speed through corners so well it troubled the merc. I liked that Beamer toward the end at 8:15 drifting around that last carousel corner, thought he was gonna spin!
Brilliant video, but my 'Britishness' would have caused me to have a bit more than words after i reckon lol. I bet he thought it was funny aswell.
