Hi All, This is probably already on here somewhere, but is there any stand out common problems with the megane 250? Looking to buy one and although it's low miles I'm interested in finding out if there is anything I should look out for when viewing / down the line. Cheers
Main one is knockin on the front, could be anything from balljoints or swivel bearings, but renault change the whole hub rather than strip down n replace. There are places thou that can change the parts. Another is the bolt in the gearbox mount, know to snap, not as common as above but it does happen, renault redesigned the part 265 onwards.
early 2010 plate were suseptable to dephaser rattle. The whole cam belt and rollers were changed under warranty. Air con pump packed up after 6 years.
