Megane 250 CUP - Eibach VS H&R Springs?

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by DavidM, Apr 27, 2016.

  1. Hi All,

I'm after some springs for my 250 Cup.

Want to find out what's recommended between Eibach & H&R. Any downsides to both (knocks etc) and any difference is ride / handling between the two.

Also are they a harsh ride or near standard ride quality.

    Cheers
    David

  2. cooksport have just released there springs to

  3. If cooksport have springs for the meg 3's I'd be going with them

  4. As the Cooksport seems to do the springs more exactly to Meg`s, i would take them over other also. But for me, only decent coilover kit can make me change my stock Cup suspension really.

  5. Had Eibach on a few cars including the Meg (mk2 RS). Better than factory in my opinion. Cant say what they are like on a 250.

    Cup

  7. Hi, I'm looking for some Springs like eibach or better to track use only. Wich is better.
    I have a MEGANE RS 250 320hp.
In some curves I notice some Rolling with the stock suspension. Se the video at 0.55second

    Thanks

  8. I have cooksport springs. Very good on new cup shocks

  9. I think either hr, eibach, cooksport and grams will all be an improvement. But for mainly track use you would be better off with some bc coilovers or similar. Or the biggest thing you can do is give the car some camber, this will help hugely. I'd go lowering springs and adjustable top mounts or for a bit more coilovers where you can atleast dial in the dampening.

  10. The mechanic told me the same!! Thanks a los! I will try with BC
The mechanic says the same. He want more camber and advance
Do you know if compbrake is better than silver plate (I have de second ones and dont like it)

  11. They do look pretty good, silver project are cheaper but then they are a cheaper setup. Works well but doesn't look as good as the comp brake ones.

I suppose if you fitted the comp brake one you will likely need to cut the top of the strut towers to make a bigger hole so you can get to the adjustments. Silver project you don't, once set you just leave them.
