Hi all picked up my decat at the show. And want to ask what issues can I expect during fitting and once fitted and how to get around them. Things I've been told. Ball ache of a job drive shaft out and rounding off bolts. Engine light coming on emissions can I use a mini cat to fool the lamba? Thanks all
Hi pal. Just had one fitted also. I don't mind getting my hands dirty when working on my car but saw this as one just out of my league. Took it to Mark Black and charged me £100. Simple. I drove back to Leeds with no eml but when I gave it some back home it came on, stayed for 3-4 days then gone off again. Wasn't a worry anyway as it will go back in for a map tweak. Well worth it just for the sound tho. My MPG has dramatically dropped purely due to wanting to hear it more! Haha have fun!
Light can be turned off with a cheap code reader. MOT time you might have to find a "friendly" tester.
