Hi all, As per title, I'm after a battery box cover/lid for my phase 1 225 cup. Only one I've seen has two cracks around the mounting holes and want a solid one if possible.
I think we've just been on the same thread on cliosport?!? Haha, I know yeah if the one with cracks in was cheaper I would probably go for that but they want £25 for it so I'll leave it and wait for a good one. What's the story with them how come they are so rare?
Hello buddy, yes we are indeed mate They tend to go missing over time and never replaced. Also look out for a scenic cover- exactly the same. am trying to make my 225 Trophy mint and the engine bay is next on the list. Just waiting for an engine cover to arrive also.
I thought surely it can't be two different people with the same username ah I see, it's a shame as it really tidies it up. Thanks for the tip I will hopefully come across one soon! What have you got left to do to your trophy other than engine bay?
@JackM94 In the middle of a full suspension refresh - just waiting on a second drivers hub so I can rebuild the swivel bearings. Already replaced the struts, springs, top hats, all link bars, inner and outer steering tre, new brakes all around. Engine bay next and a visit by my local pdr man.
@Mossyv6 that's a lovely looking car! Sounds like it's had lots of investment in it for sure, bet it will feel nice and fresh to drive when you get it all done! Btw what's PDR? What brakes did you decide to go for? Luckily mine were replaced just before I bought it with the original spec brembos
