Well i love looking at at the progress threads and thought i would share mine. Previously had a phase 1 inferno 225 cup but sold that and bought a 5 door phase 2 last September. As ive got 2 kids it had to be a 5 door and rather than not have a megane sport and have some boring 5 door car within my budget i spotted this car not too far away and decided to go and have a look. Turns out it just recently had major cambelt service and full service history and looked a very good example. My previous Inferno Anyway Pics of the day i saw the car.
developed a fault soon after with the notorious airbag light, which i had encounted on my previous meg got the light turned off more diagnosis was to follow but hasnt come on since saw some other nice renault sports while i was there
headlight upgrade and full led interior upgrade aswell as number plate bulbs. (had to order more as forgot with being a 5 door there is more bulbs doh! also painted engine bay and battery covers
next up cooksports, to get rid of the horrible body roll and close the arch gap. new renault sport badge added with KTR sticker (controversial i know but i like it for now ha). and rs megane sticker that didnt stick very well so ended up with RS MEG which i prefer anyway. added new plain rear plate Also added new gear insert
next was then the backbox chop. I also removed the cone filter that was on it when i bought the car and replaced with new modified air box with cold air feed as existing ducting had perished and seen better days. Also bought some TPI covers for the wheel bolts aswell as new intercooler

An R spoiler and removal of the KTR badge and that'll look nigh on perfect! Slightly darker rear tints would work too.
Cheers mate this is something i have thought about but would want door handles badges and bullets to all tie in colourwise if i did that, plus i think when the cars clean silver wheels looks good. i think i will get bored at some point then change to anthracite i can see it happening ha!
Was waiting for the ktr comments ha! R spoiler definately on my list to do over next few months hopefully. Your right i think i could go a bit darker without it looking to van like. need to get my swivel hub bearings sorted next mayne a trip to mark black, think the passenger side one is playing up.
Recognise the pics? Im from leicester but have a mechanic friend in loughborough so go there quite a bit. Funnily enough the previous owner was from loughborough.
small update with pressed plates on. Getting my hub bearing on nearside done on Thursday at Aarons Autos as its playing up a bit Ordered my KTR Catback which should be on the car in a few weeks.
K-Tec Racing 2.75 inch exhaust arrived today, getting it fitted tomorrow all being well at Aarons Auto whilst having my bearings done.
the one above is incorrect and K-tec are sending me the correct back box out as they included a miltek backbox which is bigger and incorrect. So hopefully this weekend get the exhaust fitted.
Good to see other RS 5 doors about. I am in Leicester quite often so I will look out for u. I drive a blue 5 door RS tbh I think the 5 doors look better shhhhhh lol some really neat and subtle mods u have done there. What are your plans for next mods?
Cheers mate, will look out for you, hardly ever see any meg rs round here. I do like the 5 door too so much more practical with having kids etc. just got my nearside hub bearings done today so both hub bearings done now in last 6 months so the car feels great again. Next mods are: fit ktec exhaust when it arrives r26r spoiler - really want this now to complete the look. remap in feb at rs tuning other mods after that will be mainly cosmetic and further down line see where i go from there more power etc
Defo practical with kids, I fit three in lol Weird that there are not many down there, loads up these parts but mostly 3 doors. Yeah keep a lookout, I mostly will be either in wigston or Kibworth beachamp areas. My Meg sticks out like a sore thumb lol not many 5 doors with side exit exhaust (pops and bangs) and track inspired mods. Not had the hub bearing issue yet (hope I dont) least you got it sorted. Exhaust looks shiny, I like. The spoiler makes back end look good, shame it wasn't std on all RS models.
I use to see a blue 3 door with tinted headlights most mornings on the way to work but other than that havent seen many down here recently. side exit thats certainly different do you use it on track? im sometimes in wigston so will keep a lookout. really looking forward to getting the spoiler next
Zorst looks good! Not been on track yet with side exit. It's not mega loud due to some track sound restrictions but I think it sounds the business. I had a small silencer fitted in centre section as before I just had a straight through pipe from cat back. All custom stainless steel.
few more pics , car is so dirty but cant bring myself to clean it then tomorrow be dirty again lol. changed KTR sticker for silver think it goes better with a black car
