Megane 225/230 and 250/265 engines.

  1. R26/225 does have vvt. See below from Renault literature!

  2. No VVT on R26/225 engines!Literature is wrong!

  3. Anyone who had a 225 and went onto a 250 tell me whether they noticed the difference of the VVT. I've had a 250 engine in a clio 197 for 2 years but VVT isn't working. Mine makes 320ish on the 250 turbo but not sure if there are any gains to getting the VVT working. It would take a separate module as the Meg 225 Ecu doesn't support VVT. I'm told it's quite mild the VVT in the 250 anyway?

  4. I thought the VVT in the Meg was more beneficial for mid-range rather than top end power?

  5. Its for economy isnt it ?
