Not sure the ARBs are worth it - I didn't bother with the rear on mine, it's stiff already, and the front makes fook all difference from the standard one Be interesting to see if you notice a difference at the rear mate You doing any track days 10/11 Dec?
The rear makes a huge difference on a Clio 1*2 but the rear beam is a bit sloppy out of the box. Not sure how it will affect the Meg though, will be interesting to see!
I think I've seen your car at Bedford a while back - I was in a white e92 M3 running Intrax suspension and we had a few spirited laps. Great fun that.. Can't recall your plate though....
We may very well have crossed paths there. I've had a few good laps with some e92 m3s Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Ah ok. Maybe it was another Meg then. Think it was 7/Nov/15, so a while back.. Anyway - your car looks ace. Liking the seats...
Not much been going but hey. Last year car was insane I must say renaults get so much stick for reliability but this car *touchwood* has done in my ownership 17 track days 3 trips to the ring and 26k miles and has been nothing short of spectacular. As with all performance cars it's not cheap to keep perfect but it's had done whatever it's needed and as such repaid me with some massive smiles. This year I plan on much of the same so many track days and ring trips. I've booked spa for Oct 2nd and hope to do dn17 track day at nurburgring on may 2nd and should be at Snetterton on 28th January. Plans this year? Not much cars pretty much perfect but I have front and rear anti roll bars and bushes to be fitted and I'll be ordering g some stiffer 110/170 front springs and who knows what wheels I go through. May this year brings many more miles with smiles
Matt what size are the enkeis here in this photo please? They look great. Also you have to do your roof black it's badass haha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cheers lads the enkeis where 17x9 et43 but I've just made a new purchase last night so hopefully they fit well and I'll use them as road wheels. Genuine Ray's TE37
If you're selling the OZ wheels let me know. I'm in the market for a set, in black. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tomorrow bro. Left the car with friends of mine to modify my turretts to allow camber adjustment to be done without dropping the suspension every time (damn you renault) he's added a ring and welded it all up for strength and to keep it looking as oem as possible
Just a heads up - Abbey told me that with the amount of work needed, it may be an MoT fail Looks properly done though mate
That is dope mate. Why would it fail an MOT? it's a proper job. No way your average grease monkey will identify that. Not in a million years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully not, just relaying what I was told. I think it's been done well enough for nobody to spot it
I assume because you are not supposed to modify suspension points is why it would fail. But yes it's a good job so I think it would go unnoticed by most. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Managed to get oil change with 10w60 oil and fit rear anti roll bar fitted today ready for Snetterton on Saturday
Only drove it home as I needed to head out but turn in feels a lot sharper so hoping for good things tomorrow
Even with the ohlins on mine set to their hardest setting I notice that when I turn sharply the back end takes a second or so to catch up. I had updated bars on my saxo years ago and I remember it making a huge huge difference. I bet they will work well on your Meg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
