I'm getting a 'click' as the steering wheel passes through 12 o'clock. Only started last night. Going to see if it still does it today and if there's any noise from the outside. Sound familiar?

Car looks unreal mate!! Would love to know how that thing drives

  11. How much are we talking for new drive shafts?

  12. Renault charge £470 but someone messaged me and said mark black does them fitted for about £150

  13. Sound. That's not too bad I suppose. Just as you get these cars running right something else pops up doesn't it. Good job i like the thing!

  20. Fantastic weekend with track day at Bedford Autodrome with my pals and the was insane once again. Car deffo needs a proper set up which was ore evident today when I was at the trackobsession power to weight shoot out and the car weighed in with half tank of fuel and without me in it at a whopping 1396kg and rolled 311bhp 366lbs torque so basically what she made at rstuning well over a year ago. Corner weights showed even without me in the car it's heavier on drivers side and they said it would really benefit from a corner weighing. Videos and pics up shortly

  21. What's the wet weight on a standard car with driver and a tank? I've seen so many different measurements it's unreal, anything from 1387kg all the way up to 1505kg :\

  22. I'm not sure all I know is that it's lardy!!!

  23. Weird then, with some fag packet calculations; 1l of petrol is 0.74kg @ 4c and presuming average driver 90kg that puts yours at 1508kg fully laden with my hypothetical average driver. Is you're actually that stripped out though?

I know it's the thing I noticed most about mine the weight, not so much in corners even but thank F it has so much torque!

  24. I'm 92kg so your not far off and no bar rear seats which have been replaced with a rear cage it's not stripped at all as I like it to still feel oem.

    Best bits from Bedford

  25. So this morning I met @pipps at our usual meeting spot for parts (he's breaking a 250 if you need anything) to pick up passenger driveshaft as mines been clicking and got straight down to my pals garage to get it fitted. The inner joint was knackered and the outer had dried right up so need one in and bosh the car now feeling great and no more horrible noises.

    Cars had
    Front discs
    2 Driveshafts
    Drop links
    Anti rotation links
    Wheel bearings
    Rear discs and pads
And feels great but as you'll see below she could really really do with corner weighting just to balance things out. The specs are with half tank of fuel and without me in it

I met a friend of yours with a white 250 recently - Mathew Ellis. Hoping to coordinate him mullering me on track soon, would be cool if we could organise a few others too.
