Nah they didn't come with, The garage put them on while they were being installed. I'd get some on yours aswell as they dont look so secure with just a nut and surely wont be clamping evenly on the turret.
I have ordered the Ramair filter and reducer as you helpfully shared. Thanks! Also ordered the bung for the sound generator.
I ordered this one, but it's almost the same: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alloy-Hos...e-New-Aluminium-CNC-Billet-Pipe-/321827366611
Removed the sound generator and fitted the bung, got rid of the unwanted noises, so only the huffing and puffing of the cone filter remains. The front had settled nicely to the height I wanted, but the rear was still a little high (and had settled less), so out came the spanners. I don't have my own driveway due to living in an appartement, but at least the parking spaces have a roof over them... Ever since it seems to have been raining non-stop, so this pic will have to do for now:
This was my first thought: "Just wait a inside honey while I adjust my suspension for this road" Looks really nice thought and the wheels do look awesome in the last pic! Just the center caps and bolts are silver? Black would make it even better I think You've changed the RS a lot in a short time. And semi-slicks in this weather ... no daily driver I guess
Actually the Misses was the one snapping those pics and handing me tools, she enjoys working on cars. I'm running no center caps and the bolts are just new stock bolts that came with the wheels, but I plan on doing a stud conversion. Actually it is my daily driver, done about 2000 km on these tires so far and they've been just fine. Even drove through some snow the second day they were on, and lived to tell the story!
I just removed the generator itself, left the hose leading up to it in place as I didn't want to remove the battery box again. Guess it would be best to remove that hose as well and fit the bung closer to the intercooler hose. The instructions for fitting the Forge Dump Valve show you how to remove the sound generator (PDF): http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/?download_id=94 I'll grab a pic of it later!
Here's a pic of the sound generator of Google Images: And here it's seen in the engine bay: The Focus ST 225 with the Volvo engine was one of the first IIRC where they advertises said generator, seen going over the engine to the firewall: Same engine in a C30, no sound generator:
I ended up near this wel known photo location in Rotterdam this afternoon, so just had to grab a few quick pics. Every modified car known to man has been photographed here...
So I popped over to my mates garage to do the headlight inserts in black. Looks so much better than the chrome... didn't do full black on the projectors etc, as I think that looks a little too dark against the yellow, and this should be easier come resell time.
Thought the same got lights with black inserts look good and mines white Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice job Martijn! I've got the same headlights ... black should be standard. It looks so much better with the black bumper parts. Top job!
Thanks! These were made with a Panasonic GH4 and GF7 (basically the same sensor) that I normally use for video. I do have a bunch of Canon cameras, but these are more convenient to use.
Zag je afgelopen week thv Gouda rijden op de A12, door de koplampen ziet de auto er veel agressiever uit, cool!
Nice spot! I had a sunstrip fitted recently, and took some pictures on my way home. Only to discover that you can hardly see the sunstrip... You can see it much better in this quick phone pic I snapped: It's about as low as the sun visors go, perfect for my length, hardly need sunglasses at all now!
I'd have to measure it as the guy installing it custom cut it from a roll of film, but IIRC it's about 25.5 cm (10 inch) from the edge of the windscreen.
Just for reference, i put on 20cm vinyl and i think that i miss a little, maybe will be redoing it with 25cm also
