Quite probably a stupid question but just wanted clarification. One of my dipped beam bulbs went so I decided while replacing the dipped bulbs I'd fit new main beam bulbs too. I used Halfords just to see what bulb fitment went in the main beam and it stated H1, but when I had a look in the headlamps today I found the bulbs already in there are H7s just like the dipped beam. I'm assuming it's the Halfords site that's wrong and not the bulbs already in the car? This is on non xenon headlights.
I have xenons and I changed my main beam bulbs and I got and fitted H7s, so the Halfords site must be wrong. Everywhere I've looked its said they're H7s
Yeah I've just had a look at what an H1 looks like, no chance it'll fit. I'll just order two sets of H7s.
