Machine polishing

  1. so, I'm no stranger to polishing a car (used to have a showcar, although it was over 10yrs ago!)
However, I've never used a machine polisher. Are they really that hard, you hear horror stories of it going wrong but surely using the right pads and polish and pressure etc it can't be that hard....can it!?...

  2. A DA machine is more forgiving but takes a little longer. My advice get an old panel to practice. It's also all about the prep : in depth decontamination first gives you a good basis. Plenty of good video guides too. Detailing world can be a good source.

  3. get yourself a test panel from a breakers yard, good to practice on ect

  4. Take a look on the Polished Bliss site and their beginner kits with everything you need, plus full instructions on what everything does. There genuinely isn't anything to be worried about using one.

  5. I agree on testing it on a panel until you get comfortable with it.

  6. Just to repeat myself -
