M3RS parking sensors problem and the car does not start

  1. Good day.

My car underwent a clutch and dual-mass flywheel change, after assembling the car it seemed to have everything in order but after traveling a few kilometers on the highway the message (check vehicle) came out, accompanied by the key on the dashboard, the car can continue working without problems but when I stop and turn it off it does not let me turn it on again, to turn it on I have to disconnect a terminal from the battery and reconnect (this clears the error) but it only lasts a few kilometers until it turns on again.

The other symptom is that the reverse sensor and the rear lights stopped working and the front parking sensor works strangely at times (it sounds even with the car in neutral position without starting the vehicle)

My theory is that the green sensor that is on the gearbox failed, yesterday I checked it and it was full of water and degreaser (the mechanic washed the gearbox before installing it and did not cover the sensor), I disassembled and put it on Clean contacts, then dry it but it did not work, also check the fuses found in the engine compartment (UPC) since reading the car manual I could see that one of them commands the gearbox neutral sensor and also the reversing lights (number 17) but it's good.

One possibility is that the port point sensor on the manual gearbox may have gone bad when water and degreaser arrived.

Do you have an idea what it might be?

    Thank you so much

  2. The reverse switch on thr gearbox tends to fail after messing with the gearbox, it failed on mine after a clutch change, new one sorted it out, whether that would cause the other issues i dont know.

  3. The other problems also cause me strangeness, I don't know if changing the gearbox sensor will fix them.

    The scanner throws two errors:

df006 "wake up signal open circuit"

    df058 "Neutral position circuit incoherence"

    Thank you

  4. get a new gearbox reverse sensor, they are cheap enough.
sort one issue at a time.
Also if the car think it is not in neutral it will trough other issues codes.
    is your battery healthy?
did they wash the gearbox inside the car or did they take it out before.
I would try to go back and tell them, the car was good with no faults i assume before you went for clutch change?

  5. Tbf the renault specialist that did mine, forgot to change it after the clutch was gone, its a common problem after messing with the gearbox, and can cause all sort of problems and issues.
