LY Crash at the Ring

I would never do a lap of the 'Ring in weather like that, no matter how desperate I was.

 

i have, my first 5 laps ever infact, treated it with alot of respect

 

Ouch! I'd lap it. But at about 5mph.

 

Wow, looking at that second clip of it he lost that a way way way waaaaaaaay back before he hit the armco. Came into shot sidewaysish, nice to know the headlights bail at the first opportunity lol

 

I wouldn't touch the A3 with a barge pole in that weather, let alone the f*cking Nurburgring.

 

Lucky he only briefly touched the armaco (cost/m), and probably not a track closure. So only a few quid cash out his pocket.

 

My first lap this year was just as bad. Had a couple of moments. Gave it a miss next time it pissed down.

 

Done a few laps in rain and fog. You just have to drive to the conditions and realise you are not going to be breaking any records in those conditions.

Track can be bone dry at the start and wet part way around, so not always drivers choice.
