Hi all Had an MOT done a few days ago and been told the Offside/Nearside Front Suspension arm ball joint has slight play. I'm taking the lower ball joints have warn away as it's quite a common fault Just wanted to make sure are these the correct parts https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOR-RENA...62261&hash=item25c306a638:g:ee8AAOSw7mJZ0rJXy and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOR-RENA...588657&hash=item3f988cdec0:g:DewAAOSwrXdau8Et
Mileage is 52,000, I know the lower ball joints takes the most abuse. Anyone know why the two links look different? Also what sort of labour charges should i expect to pay
There different as there two different parts, if you were doing the lot there's 3 per side. It all needs disassembling and pressing out. I think in the past people have been paying around £250 but obviously more if you were doing all 6
Apologies for hijacking this thread but I've been told that the ball joint has play in it and. I've taken a picture of it and I'm wondering whether it's the same part. I only need to replace one because that wheel was hit head on by a kerb on track. The question I had was whether it's a ball joint or just the bush, or whether they come as one part. Thanks
Officially you have to buy the complete hub carrier at £256.28 retail from Renault. We can supply you just the ball joint. (Genuine Renault part). We have 138 in stock. Can be with you next day. This is the one you would need: https://www.apmotorsport.co.uk/product-page/megane-3-lower-ball-joint
Do you offer forum users any discount on the products you stock? I'm after upper and lower ball joints for both sides and would be grateful for a promo code if possible.
