I've fitted an Odyssey PC680 race battery to my R26.

I keep getting a low battery warning on dash with the STOP and Battery lights illuminated.

Warning disappears when engine is turned off and I have no issues starting the car. The warning will randomly reappear after driving for a while.

Any ideas what could be causing it as the battery is holding charge and alternator is charging the battery.

  2. I think the low battery warning might refer to the battery in your keycard, and not the engine battery. Check the owners manual..

I replaced the keycard battery the other week as it was dead.

  4. Might be worth checking all the earth points, just incase one is loose after having the engine fitted?

The earth from the battery to chassis is bad for corroding.

  5. Constantly got that on my old 250. referred to the key card
Always replacing batteries. Sometimes a swap over was enough for the last one I took out and rebooted it [ha ha]
