Loud metalic clank from drivers wheel..

  1. Got a very unnerving loud metalic clank/clonk coming from the wheel area, drivers side on my R26.It only does it when putting a lot of load through the steering when going through left to right,at max torque, say like when coming off a roundabout on the power.I have been told there is a bit of play in the hub bearing on that side, but i dont know if this could cause such a loud metalic clonk.
Again..it only does this at extreme load.
Everything is new on the suspension side, and the car seems to be handling ok.
It had new roll bar,and subframe bushes, and has had both drop links and roll bar links replaced a year ago with mr auto oem brand parts.

I do feel the car is rolling a little more than it should, but with everything new,i am not sure where to look.
Can a worn hub bearing make such a loud noise?...they have been rebuilt no more than 10k ago,but i think the pitted turrets in the bearing have worn it out premature..

    any ideas??

Check your sub frame bolts are tight, sounds exactly like what my mates track car was doing when we lost one at Oulton park.
