Hi guys I have a 1.9 dci and a few times recently I have had a few moments where the car has lost power for a few moments.This so far has only happened at speeds under 40mph and when it happens I put my foot on the clutch and change down if possible and then it seems fine. The only thing I can maybe think of is I have changed the air filter recently for a second hand k and n. But I did not re oil it at all as I didn't want to bigger up my MAF! Any ideas please? There is still oil on it that could have got to the maf. You are better of with stock panel filter and clean the maf with dry electronic contact cleaner. It must be dry one Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
Cone or panel filter bud ? I've got a foam Non-oil panel filter that I've just taken off my 225 assuming they are the same size.. Ramair one that's only done about 4k miles....
Just an update the Mrs reckons it did this once about a month ago and that's before I fitted the panel filter!
