Was going to take the wheels off this weekend to properly clean and seal them, but the locking key broke after I'd undone 1 bolt. Question is, it there any need for these any more? Do pikies still go round nicking alloy wheels? I'm going to have to buy a new one just to get the 3 remaining bolts out of the other wheels, but then I think I'll just put normal bolts in.
I think if you live in the country like myself it's unlikely I use theese they are different to standard sockets anyway so less likely for pikeys to be carrying the adapter that's the way I look at it they look miles better than std rusty nuts as well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-ALLOY-...Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item19d9dcf740
Never seen these before - interesting. The difference between male tools like the one you linked and traditional female tools like my broken one is that if you suffer a failure, it will most likely be the bolt, rather than the tool. Either way you screwed for taking the wheel off, but with female tools you would need only buy a new tool rather than drilling the bolt out.
