Hi guys I've got two small imperfections that I wouldn't mind sorting on the R26. There is a small scuff on the bump strip and the driver bolster has been worn by the door card I think. What are my options to amending these?
I don't think it would be expensive to get the strips painted mate probably between £60-£100 I'd say and I'm not a leather expert so I can't comment on the seat but it looks like some form of blistering, maybe someone's used something they shouldn't have on it. Try some gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner and then maybe try use some leather dye (can be bought as a direct match) and buff it up and see how it looks.
Didn't think about getting them painted, would it not look a bit weird though. Leather dye sounds good mate, I'll take a look at that. Cheers
Hmm yeah I know what you mean at the moment they're like a textured flat finish. I should imagine it looking okay though. You might be able to pick another up I don't know. Yeah no worries mate
