Ah so that is why you came over

Looks great, Wouldnt buy them personally though as even replacement rotors are twice the price of stock discs LOL

  3. well, i warped 2 pairs of stock discs within 1y/20 000km. was already desperate about it. there are some more track days comming up till end of the year so wanted to be on the safe side.

have a look how my discs look like after about 10 000km. :-/

  4. £778.80 for the pair with the mounting system
    or
£537.60 only for the brake discs

  5. They looks mostly like pad deposits on the discs to me, if so it can be cured with a different braking style, brake harder for less time

  6. thats exactly what I m doing but it`s not helping. i as well got the wheels down and cleaned them with brake cleaner. it helpd only a little bit and after couple of days was back :-/

  7. You need to go out and stand on the brakes a few time , really hard short stops down to nearly stopping then get back up to speed then repeat several times, the discs will be clean and turn blue, they should be clean then

  8. I've got the PF kit on my R with DS2500 pads and never have a problem now since I changed my braking style, however one guy I know with an R26 uses standard discs and pads and never has a problem , he's on AST Coilovers and semi slicks, it's just that he's an awsome driver and a fantastic instructor , he took me out in my own car to show me what it can actually do, never again , what I'm saying is its may not be the equipment your using

  9. I do the bed in procedure every time before driving hard (track day, Nurburgring). but currently i have the feeling that the discs are beyond "repair" :-)

  10. I agree, It is my fault, but there is nobody with racing experience to show me how to break :-/

  11. Ahh, it may be worth trying to get a little instruction on your next track day, best money you will spend

  12. good advice, i will do that next renault track day

  13. ... and this is how they look installed on the car

  14. they do look smart ill give you that!

  15. They look awesome, brake power

  16. They look mint! Does need a wash though

  17. Worth the money alone in looks, PF are top quality manufactures too.

  18. ive got the 330mm discs on mine and destroyed a set off ds2500 pads. the problems wasnt my braking style but the amount of time i spent on track sending the pads past there working temp and causing pad glaze.

had the discs skimmed to remove the deposits and switched to the PF 07 compound and have had no bother since. fantastic stopping power and feel once warmed up.

They should be good pads for £225 a set

  20. Well thankfully I didnt pay that for them mark. The performance gain over the ds2500s on track justified the price for standing up to hard use on track.

  21. And how do they perform while daily driving? We are (Sebinko and I) looking for the PFC08 compound, seems like the right pad for us.. I hope aiming for one of the best pads will save me some money than trying to go ''the cheaper way''.

  22. White car and PF pads = yellow car. Love PF and their pads. Not so keen on yellow car.

  23. Does the yellow remove easily ? , I've got mud flaps on mine, wonder if that would help

  24. Yellow car? Caused by these pads? Can you provide more info or experience? Can it be cured by detailng products like IronX? thx

  25. 07 pads are better than my dc2500 from cold so 08 should be better still.

07 left really bad fallout on my wheels due to there bedding in process. Had to remove the wheels and clay them to shift it as fallout remover wasnt enough. Since then though ive had no issues with dust.

  26. Ok, thank you for making this clear, I used to care about rims a lot more before they got scrathes from changing the tires, every tire change a got some new ones and I made a deal with the shop that they will refurbish them on their own expenditures when I want cause they cannot prevent this from happening.

    take care,
    Honza
