   i had one when i had my 182 the rubber edge came away from the filter although the change it. i think there made by pipercross which i also had and that did the exact same thing. theres ram air?

   got a K&N washable filter, done 100K miles with it, washed a coples of times, been fines, no issues

   I usually use ITg but they seem a lot pricier these days.

   I went Ramair - I figured the KTR one was probably no better and it was very cheap.
   
   Doubt it made any difference though.
