Not sure if it will help you but I have this interesting setup..the straight pipe has a muffler on it although quite small and the back section is straight through. It does make really great noise if that is what you are after. It is a milltec system but modified. Not sure I want to sell it as i use it for the noisier circuits but food for thought
My Megane had a straight through pipe from the cat to the back when i bought it, did a couple of track days like that and was getting around 95db, i then fitted a decat pipe and it then went to about 119db so i then fitted a non resonated Scorpion system and is now running between 84-92db, there is so much difference between the machines they use at tracks, at Donington i had a reading of 94db on a drive by
