Here's a little stint at last night's reverse track evening at knockhill..... Fatigue was a big issue for me so I ended up not being as heavy on the brakes and not braking as late, trying to keep it nice and clean and have plenty of fun. The car now has some toe out as well, should of had this initially, someone may be able to explain properly, but the diff wasn't working properly with no toe out, the car handles much better now. There was a race only 458 on track and you'll see about 4 mins in when he overtakes me on full throttle - the stuff that dreams are made of. Range was an issue for the 1st time, I spanked a full tank in 3.5 hours, had to buy some more off the catherham guys to get a few laps in before then end. Some good going mate, the track flows really quickly in reverse doesn't it. The main straight is a pain in the arse though with the Meganes gearing, it's either hit the limiter in 4th or change to 5th and fumble 2 gear changes down for the hairpin. the noise of that Ferrari too...wow Glad you've posted it, it's helped me through a wee 15mins of my time in the departure lounge Toe out will make the car a little more nervous but will help with turn in and through the bends as the wheels naturally try to toe in during hard cornering, espcially with the LSD that's about the limit of my knowledge of it lol
First chance I've had to watch your laps, looking good mate. Track looks a good challenge on reverse.
