Hi all I have an issue with the mrs 250cup. On engine start up there is a clunk when the engine fires up. Sounds like its coming from the drivers side - is it possble that the top torque mount on cam cover is worn or should i be looking at the other mounts. Cheers Jon
Had battery tray out and checked gearbox mount which seems ok. All the mounts look fair condition typically, will start by replacing the top mounts and go from there.
Try and get a video of the noise, could be anything, no point spending money on parts you might not need Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
From new the engine moves quite abit on start up, i uprated the lower one to a vibra technics one and foundit alot better once worn in.
I have only got it now if its cold outside or the car has not been started for a while. Warmer weather and no noise !! If I find it will let you know, its one of many small things I'm working on lol
