Hi all The Mrs was driving the car today and when she had parked up and went back to it she found out it would not unlock! So she bought some new keycard batteries and no joy! She had to get our eldest daughter to get the other keycard and that worked first time. I have tried and still cannot get it to work and also it rattles when I shake the card. I am thinking something like the transponder has broken away from the innards. So what do I do next? Do I open it up and try and resolver or do you guys with the knowledge know what to do. Please help as my Mrs might kill me if the other keycard breaks. Thankyou in advance.
There are folk out there that can repair them, quite a conmon fault, depends if youve got the skills with a soldering iron.
Cheers StoatInACoat Might give them a go. My dad is an electrician so we might give the repair ourselves a go but for £25 I reckon I would be stupid not to. Cheers
