Had Kentblokes lovely Seat Leon Cupra in last week, a year since it's had it's new car detail and has been kept in very good shape, the car is now up for sale so we have got it into tip top shape and protected for the next owner.

    Looks great, lovely gloss!

How do you find the ISM coat, I'm still debating what coating to do mine in next year

    Thanks Jamie.

Really rate it, very easy to apply and has the look of a good wax, not the sterile look of some coatings.

  6. Have to say that in comparison to your seemingly usual jobs this one looks like an easy number, still a great result though. A credit to ther original detail you gave it.

  7. This looks fantastic I hope to get mine looking exactly like this for spring. What polish and pads did you use, if you don't mind me asking? My red 280 has swirled paint as I suspect the dealer washed it regularly with a grit covered sponge!!

if kent bloke sold it 3 months back I would have bought it off him.

Used the rupes polishers with a yellow meguiars pad and menzerna 2400.

  9. Thanks mates ive got that polish so will give it a whirl, assume you used the 4000 or 4500 grade after

    Yeah go with 4000 mate.

  11. it seems to last well too. My cars still bead nicely even on top of the dirt.

  12. Big thanks to Ed, great job again, cheers mate.

  13. Nice work Ed, look forward to seeing your work on it's replacement when it arrives!

  14. The Focus is looking more like May then March atm Scooby, , suits me as i got a plate 16 plate from DVLA

  15. How did you find the Cupra after the 250?

I'm considering a Cupra 290 (with the Sub8 pack) as a replacement for my 250 (maybe even the estate version!), which I've owned for over 5 years. I just fancy a change but while I'd love a Focus RS, I just don't think I'd be happy parking it anywhere. I quite like the under the radar looks of the Cupra.

  16. I enjoy the Leon, the fact with the modes you can turn it down so its not as solid all the time like the Megane, but its like it does every thing to well, i did miss the fizz that driving the Megane gives you. Also the Megane wins hands down on looks, if you want a car that does it all well and creeps in under the radar give a leon a try, but a long try if you can let a dealer let you have one for a day or so.

  17. Thanks. Yeah I think I need to pop down to a dealer and see if they have one for me to look around.

I keep changing my mind at the moment, I'm either looking for another fast/sensible hatch or perhaps a 997 Carrera 2S. But we're doing up a house at the moment so a proper boot would be rather useful!

  18. Oh looks nice, don't see many in red.

What at you going to do if you sell it now and the RS doesn't show up till May?

  19. Ive parked the Leon on the drive since Ed detailed it mate, got a Ka to run around in till the Focus comes, and if the Leon dont sell il px it against the Focus

  20. To much choice mate, ive always wanted a 911 or a Cayman, but i wouldnt want a s/h one, and ive not the money to buy new , , , Dam!!!
