On way to Newcastle yesterday, stop on motorway to fill up water jets and awesomely the bonnet wouldn't close so had to drive the rest of the way with it being held by the safety clip! Pull inside seems okay but just doesn't seem to slam shut or hold!! Is this a known issue or just my crap car? Cheers
Have you verified that the cable has not come apart and both parts now are fighting for the same space. (The cable from the passenger footwell joins another cable just in front of the battery)?
Thanks eltel! Didn't even notice that bit. The ball type thing had broken off. Bit of solder later and it's sorted
