Hi guys, as title says was advised by members on here to get parts from here just called and was given price of £265.45 and that's delivered to Scotland and with discount for being member. Seems a good price to me and will pads be ok rather than getting ferodo pads etc as I don't do track driving just road cheers.
That's same as me mate. I received my discs and pads last week to Manchester. I paid £252. I did have ferodo DS2500's on buy went standard as I don't intend on anymore track days. I wish I would have always stuck with the standard pads as they are a million times better day to day!! I'm still bedding them in so haven't been on a spirited drive yet. As expected they won't be anywhere near as good as ferodo!
Haven't a clue with regards to standard pads I've just been doing normal day to day driving with the odd long 70% stop. I bedded the ferodos in properly but not sure on standard pads hopefully someone will say how. I was just wanting to get 200/300mile under them and then go on a very steady B road blast with the brakes only in mind.
You have to watch initial pad transfer which ends up making the two friction materials less effective as a couple.
Well called Evans halshaw as after getting gearbox oil changed they flagged up that the two front discs were very badly corroded and pads under limit. I have had the car since end of June so called them and said I wasn't replacing them etc and they have agreed to supply and fit front pads discs and fitting kit under warranty happy days lol.
