I'm about to install a sports cat, Airtec intercooler and ITG intake ready for a remap, and was wondering whether it's worth replacing the stock flexi pipe too? The blurb on this GT Performance downpipe states that the OEM one has a 50mm restriction, whereas this one is 65mm. Would it make any difference?
Yes they are but you may as well change the full system for a 3” one though rather than just the flexi.
