   yeah i am. my car has rod bolts done. ive kept the power down though, as i use it everyday

   I read this over and over thinking 'eh, but if the turbo's internals are standard then it's not hybrid?!' .. then it clicked
   
   It's power that damages the engine, not the turbo. People say around 300lb/ft is the limit, so you could still aim for that with a nice curve.
