How the hell did you squeeze that in there? Is there a build thread available for it with more pictures? Is it a mini or standard size Ipad? Cheers, lots of info required on this.
Its the mini ipad, i took my ipad case and removed the part the ipad sits in, cut the fascia so part would fit. I fibre glassed the part to the fascia i also stuck a magnet on the back of the part. Filled and shaped the front then sanded. I then flocked it with a diy flocking kit, stuck other magnet on back of ipad. To be honest it was was simple.
Thereby retaining steering wheel controls etc. Clever! How is it staying in? Just with magnets? Have you fed it power via the headunit loom to pick up switched live?
It is made with a ipad case so fits snug i used magets as a extra precaution. Not fed any power to it yet so i just take out and charge the ipad.
