As above really. Most of the time they don't work, then like magic they work. How do you check which sensor works and which doesn't? Regards
I saw this on a FB through They should "tick" if they work (apparently). Go to the pre-ignition stage (i.e. don't start the car), whack it in reverse and listen to each sensor Mine are intermittent as much as I get the "check parking sensor" message, but they always seem to work so i figure it's dirt or something
No fuse, but clip can identify which sensors packed up, their wired series so if one goes they all stop working
hiya i had the same problem. Most of the time they didnt work. Took the car to a motor electrician and they rigged it up to a laptop which had the correct software and was able to identify which sensor was not working. I checked the sensor in question and found the the connection clip on the loom was damaged. Found a clip from ebay and wired it in and all sensors work now. if its not a clip then its a sensor not working. Hope this helps
