250 Induction hose

  1. Companies like SFS Performance do a hose, which replaces the rubber hose from air box to turbo, that supposedly fixes the problem that the OEM hose "squashes" from the vacuum, when giving it the beans. Does anyone here have any evidence that this "squashing" actually occurs, thus restricting air flow?

  2. Good question. I was thinking about replacing this with the silicone version. Would be good to hear about this.

  3. I doubt very much the oem hose would suck itself together, that's why they make them 'serated' and not smooth. I know for a fact if you buy cheap silicone hoses they will suck themselves in so if you are changing then go for a known brand. Perks of the silicone are that its a larger diameter.

  4. Give it as good rev in the drive with the bonnet open and look at the hose. Bet it doesn't move!
