I've just got a halfords one but it doesn't record for long after you switch the car off. I'd go for something hard wired in so that it records for a lot longer and is motion activated. More of a pain but if you've had the car damaged then it's worth it! Or just get cctv if the car is outside the house, that's what I've got.
Jesus, there's some scumbags about. Have you had a look to see if you were covered by somebody else's CCTV? An old phone with a decent memory card can be left recording as a temporary measure if your desperate.
