After selling up my 265 Trophy last November for an FQ360 Evo the mrs had been pestering me for a new motor too. The 225 she ran around in was a beautiful car and as a daily I thought it was perfect, however as my daughter was growing by the day it was becoming a struggle with the two door body. So it was good bye to the Megane and my last RenaultSport after being through a ph1 172, 182, 197 Cup, 265 Trophy and this 225. And after pondering over a few worthy replacement we test drove this and the mrs fell in love with it Scooby WRX STI Prodrive pack, dyno'd at 315bhp. Fantastically fun motor to drive and it just goes, stops and turns so urgently. Not as sharp or focused as the Evo but as an everyday prospect this is more suitable. So thanks to everyone for the enjoyable time with the Meganes, I'll still be at FCS hopefully. This has been on of the best forums I've been a member of and look forward to seeing it grow more and more over the coming years. Still got a few things I'm selling from the megs so have a look. Shame about the Megane sales buddy, but glad you'll be sticking around. Also I can't believe you sold the 225 with that exhaust on it. I even had a standard exhaust you could have had

Cheers for the comments lads. I'm not sure if i'll ever end up in another RS. I've never owned a bad Renault and in particular the 265 left a massive impression. If I was to go back it'd be a nice cheap little 172 as bang for buck you won't get more smiles in anything else.
The 2.0 STI with the PPP a on it is 305 BHP, the 2.5 STI with the PPP on it is 316 BHP, I was big Ito my subaru having had an RB 320, rapid things on any surface mate, you'll love it.
