HI, Just something I heard - (if you do go and look at it make sure you check it out FULLY) http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...-cage-and-toyo-r888-r26-r--------2009/1704612 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtX4GKTAqYE
it is being sold as "all clear hpi" bit of a piss take given its history, some poor sod will buy a write off (it was never put through an insurance claim) i dont doubt its been repaired to a good standard but i wouldnt want it at that price.
if there were only ever 43 deep black r26r's, how do you know it's the one in the vid being knocked off on ph?
Also that car was on Autotrader a few month ago for 17k .. Looks like some poor bugger bought it and has now found its history Been dropping £500 a week on the current PH add
I hope some one can confirm if it is or isn't the one and report the advert. Making my stomach turn how some one could be that unscrupulous!!!
Loads of second hand cars have some sort of 'history' though. It's great that we have these forums to highlight issues like this.
Not doing anything wrong tho are they ... It is hpi clear because your not insured at the ring , no damage has been recorded Just u lucky it was caught on video
I have been told is a carbon bonnet. PPI hope no one on here ends up with it. You imagine buying it, then seeing the video.....
What I mean is the safety of the car and its value to whom could buy it unknowingly. Who knows if it's been VOSA inspected or not doubt it, easily a cat C. Although if it was going cheaper, the buyer is aware its been repaired and had been inspected etc yeah nothing wrong with that. "Numbered plaque 059 of 159"
Definitely put the registration number in the title and get it shared to a few forums if it is being sold incorrectly (I don't know the story so won't comment on that). Google VO54 FFZ. Proof that it works - I did that nearly two years ago and pretty sure if anyone looks for history when buying it they will still be put off!
Thats what you can see.. What about air bags, engine parts, chassis damage ect... In my head, once a bit of metal is bent and straightened, it will bend eaiser in the same place next time.
