Just wondered if anyone had any parts of their Megane hydro dipped and if so what finish? I would really like the engine cover in my Trophy hydro dipped with something interesting. I'm not sure about carbon as the bonnet is currently carbon wrapped so I'd prefer something to match the Samco hoses and blue interior bits and pieces.
I'm getting front and rear diamonds and engine cover done. £20 for badges and £70 for engine cover from Hydromonkeys in Sunderland. I'm going to collect them this Friday so I'll get some pics up when I've got them. Going for black and red carbon on the engine cover with Renaultsport logo on it
I got a quote from a local guy, for my fuse cover and 2 side plastics and long slam panel cover it was £90 don't know what its gunna look like but I want them plain anthracite so might be cheaper to get em sprayed
Thanks Jonny some pics would be great. With regard to anthracite, I'm aware they spray the parts with a base paint anyway and then apply the graphics so spraying them would be simpler. For example for a standard carbon look they'd spray it dark grey and the film would then give it the pattern. Sam as if you wanted orange/blue/red carbon effect, they'd just spray it the chosen colour first. I'm not sure whether to go for something RenaultSport if that's an option or something more custom to me.
