I wouldnt bother fitting them without a larger turbo.

 

Ah fair enough, larger turbo first then lol :-)

 

Absolutely the right choice, 20t with the larger exhaust wheel is worth fitting or larger garrett if your wanting more power. You will need to fit the cam sensor toothed wheel to the 172 inlet cam, should be easy enough to do. Stock cam timing and using the vvt should give great results.
