  1. Hi,

The picture below shows the current situation that I'm in with removing the hub off my megane. How on earth do I get this bolt out, any ideas?

Hit the hub and shock the bolt loose and undo the nut

  3. The problem I have Mark is when I turn the nut the threaded part turns. How do I stop this happening?

  4. Think I'm going to get it off and send it to Mark to be reconditioned. Yeah ball joint worries me but il deal with that once it's off haha!

  5. no hole for a hex key in the top of the threaded part?

  6. I used a ball joint splitter but in saying that my bottom arm was nackered so I wasn't fussed in destroying it lol

Can you not jack up the hub in anyway so that the bottom of the hub touches the nut again creating pressure so that you can undo it more, just a thought

  7. also, it looks like you need a new anti rotation link, but I guess you know that ;-)

  8. You don't remove that for that reason there is a plate under the hub 3 13 mm bolts undo them simple.

Get a pair of grips on the ball joint,
Push the lower arm down and it'll give you enough room to grab it
