    Hi,

Wanted to remove the battery & battery tray, in order to inspect the gearbox mount underneath.

Do any of you guys know how to unclip this without breaking it?

I am struggling to take that clip off the battery tray without breaking it.

For bonus points: how to put it back on again?

    Cheers

  2. Isn't that a clip that just clips onto the box

Yeah, I'm trying to remove the box (or battery tray as I called it), and so I need to take the clip off, but I don't know how to remove the clip from the box.

Try underneath and push both sides in and gently push up

Thanks Ian, I tried that but was unsuccessful.
I took another picture to show the side of the clip.
The black plastic clips onto metal parts pointing out and downwards.
    Couldn't get it to release...

  6. use screwdriver and prise each side off, its just a barb that clings onto plastic, easy to reuse many times

sorry Huw, not got that far with mine yet

  8. As said above, it is like a bulldog clip with teeth, and no handles to open it up. Prise it open with a screwdriver, or gently wiggle it free. The worst that can happen is that you bend the teeth back on themselves, but these can be pushed back into position once it is off.
