250 How to remove the rocker cover?

    What's the process of removing the rocker cover on a mk3? Wouldn't mine getting mine cleaned up and painted if it's not too bad.

    You will have to remove the turbo beforehand and that's a real ass of a job, believe me pulling the engine would be easier for removing the turbo.

    Oh really why does the turbo need removing?

    Because the outlet from the turbo is so close to the vent plate and rocker cover, you need to lift the rocker up quite a bit and that aint going to happen with the turbo fitted.

  7. You could clean it in situ. Just use lots of tape and plastic

    the rocker cover holds the cams in place so you'll need timing tools as well
