How the hell do you get to the lower bolt on the standard recirc valve on a 225 ?!

  1. Evening all

    Think I have an issue with the standard recirc valve fitted to my 225, she's not holding boost under full load - dropping from 1.1 bar down to 0.8 / 0.9 randomly. Have purchased a 2nd hand replacement unit from one of the guys on here...

    Just been out for a nose under the bonnet to suss it out before it arrives, have located the valve and the top two bolts; which look simple enough, but the 3rd lower most one >! WTF :confused:

    Any hints / tips ??

  3. All you need is an offset spanner mate

    This job is made much easier if you remove the inlet pipe.

  6. On a 250, job is easy with inlet pipe removed.
     
  7. this a 225 mate
     
  8. Take inlet aout, use an 10mm spanner
