Hi Someone's clipped my passenger wing mirror, thankfully it's only the mirror glass that got damaged. I have the replacement glass, but I have no idea how's best to remove the smashed glass (backing to the glass is still all intact) and how to put the replacement on. any advice would be gratefully appreciated. :-) Lynette
It should just prise off carefully with a screwdriver or two. Shouldn't need much force, just stick them down behind the glass and lever towards you. There should be an electrical connector on the back so watch for that too.
