How are your nuts?

  1. Looking for some wheel experts who know a thing or two about nuts

I’m getting a ton of conflicting information on this subject, and strangely enough advice seems to differ between different wheel specialists too, think of that what you will. Hoping someone can shine some light.

I’m looking for non standard wheel options for my r26, to which I’m well aware there are not tons of options. I understand bolt pattern, offset and hub bore so no issues there. The bolt/lug hole fitment of the the wheel though seems to be information that you don’t really find on many wheel shop websites. So I know that r26 take an M14x1.5 with a 60 degree taper. When it comes to the wheel though, what bore does the lug hole need to be? Im either finding wheels that are m12, so wouldn’t fit our nut without drilling out slightly, which I’m advised not to do, or I’m finding M15/M19 size holes which again don’t seat the m14 but nicely.

can anyone advise? Or offer any suggestions with how they have gotten round smaller/larger diameter bolt holes on their wheels?

    Thanks
