Horrid clicking noise turning left

  1. So had me megane a week now and I've noticed a horrible clicking noise from the front right on low speeds or when turning left. the cliclicking can still be heard at say 30mph? Now I've read a few bits on here about the H&R springs causing a slight knock but this isn't as such a knock but like I say a click, to me almost sounds like cv joint.

Anyone else with the H&R springs had similar clicking? Or anyone with out them?

Will try and get the wheels off etc to see if I can locate the noise

  2. Maybe the bearing on the drive shaft mine was doing the same = new drive shaft

  3. Ahh really! How much was that

  4. Cv joint??

Is that how cheap they are? That's good, I thought they were a lot more?

  8. can you change the joint only then, and not the whole driveshaft ? i have the clicking on the o/s when turning right..

Yeh but check if it's ripped or not. If it's still in one piece a lot just repack it with grease and retie it with a metal jubilee clip.

  10. Probably the lowering springs

  11. Cheers guys. And Ryan I've read about the H&R springs causing a noise bit can't imagine it being this

  12. Driveshaft when mine did it, cost about £220 fitted from Mark Black.

  13. That is for the whole shaft.

Should be able to get the shaft direct from Renault , then an hours labour to change per side.
