Home-brew induction kit

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by UBAdam, Jan 15, 2014.

  1. Sorry if this is in the wrong section first of all.

Just thought id show everyone my idea for an induction kit as the current Pipercross kit that it has on is rubbish, and as the car is getting remapped I thought I would give the car the best chance on the rollers.
Its 100mm filter reduces to 63mm tothe turbo.

I think the it came to £50 not including the Forged intake pipe.

    Any C/C welcome

I think its a very bad idea put the cone filter down....here we did test and its a bad location...IAT going up and slower respone. But if you feel good...OK

  6. The cold air feed would be supplying the filter with cold air.

Have you any alternatives RSRacing ? Always happy to see alternatives.
