Morning All, Currently own a FF Clio 200 with cup pack, athracite pack, carbon pack and recaros, which i'm in the process of trying to sell so that i can move onto a Meg250 I think ill be looking around the 13K-14K mark and am after one (preferably in Black) with cup chassis, leather Recaros, Xenons and few other bits like dual climate control etc. Am yet to have a drive in a Meg and haven't heard any bad things about them. Anything i should look out for when buying? There isnt too many about at the spec i want so may mean having to buy from a private seller. I've just read someones thread about problems they have had and now its making me wonder if i should forget a private buy altogether... Would be nice to trade the clio as its means im in a meg quicker but just not worth it with the extra i can get selling private. Cheers, Steve
My mate has a black 250 in your spec for sale! It's up at £15.5k at the mo but I'm sure he'd negotiate.. Have you had a trade in price on yours?
I had a renault dealer that said 7K without seeing the car and another said 8.5K. I went onto we buy any car out of interest and that came up at 8K. Another site like WBAC (cant remember which) said 8.6K Currently the car is advertised at £10,090 which seems about middle of the range from what i can see online, yet its higher spec that then any others (no others have anth pack, carbon pack and few have cup spoiler. Is the odd other one with Recaros). Plus ill also be letting the number plate RS60 JON (valued at £1500) go with the car too. I'd like to trade in as its quick and easy but what i let the car go for will be a nice amount towards a deposit on a meg (£6400 settlement figure on mine as of last month) which is why so far i've not really considered trade in.

Morning All, Went to view a sport yellow 250 last weekend - cup chassis, leather recaros, xenons etc and hopefully going back this weekend for a test drive and see what figures can be met. Went to view/test drive the 265T this morning...what a stunning car! Service from the guys at Maundrell & Co was excellent, would highly recommend. Believe Alex is a member on here - if you come across this post - thank you! http://www.maundrelland.co.uk/ So...the clio will be going Friday morning: And my return journey from Oxford will be made in this beauty!! 11K miles, 1 previous owner who has a fleet of cars, Clio V6, R26R, Ariel Atom and many more. The 265 was kept in a heated garage on ramps being detailed and only his weekend car. I cannot wait to go pick her up
