Hi guys, Im now the proud(ish) owner of an f1 225. Picked it up dirt cheap as it needs quite a large amount doing to it. I hope i'm OK to just keep reviving this thread whenever I become stuck as i'm sure I will do, which leaves me to my first question...colour codes for both the body (blue) and gloss black alloys and where from? Id also like to upload pics as I progress as a means to look back on, and hopefully help people in the future.
That's great. To be honest the alloys are not that bad. I could probably touch them up with a generic gloss black. Ill post some pics up tomorrow as well as a full plan of action. Off the top of my hear it needs a new clutch, read disks, repair to the drivers recaro, velocity joint gaitor and a few touch ups on the outside.
Doesn't sound too bad mate, and will be fantastic when its all done, as it'll be all new etc. www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk will be your best friend for OEM parts (discs, clutch etc)
Yeah that was also the plan. I could quite happily throw 2k at it and still come in below what its worth, plus it will have all the new parts. For peace of mind, is there anything else you can recommend to replace as its sitting at 100k? Its due a service as soon as the repairs are done so I will get the work done then. Thanks.
