  1. Hi there my name is Darren im from Oswestry near Wrexham.
    Got a question. . I
    I'm looking for a car. .
Had my nissan pulsar gtir for 19 years
    400bhp bla... bla. .. bla....
Tryed to like a golf r32
    Or a sti subaru
But I think I'm more in love with the rs megane. 270..most of all the interior.lushhhhh
Without being biased would you recommend the r.s megane. .?

If not what would you go for if you did not invest in you megane. .

    Thank you for your time..
    Keep safe.

  2. I would recommend the Megane, yes - but not for the interior. It's the one issue that most road tests agree on - that it looks dated and old fashioned.

I don't tend to agree though to be honest. I think it is a nice clean and clear design, especially when you look at the mess that is a Ford ST/RS currently.

If you're chasing big power then maybe it's not the best car for you. I'm not saying they aren't capable of big power with the right mods, but there's probably better starting points than a Megane.

It's the chassis that excels on these cars, with or without mods, and if that's where your interest lies, then go for it.

Welcome along too Darren, by the way

  4. What he said! I love mine and I think it'd be difficult to go back to a "normal" car, as far as outright all round performance that you can use every day.

And for me personally, the interior on a car isn't the be all and end all of a car, so long as it's half decent it doesn't have to have everything all singing and dancing! It's functional! Make sure to get Recaros though

  5. Thank you for your reply smiley means a lot to me ....
I'm a young at heart 50 year old and a car with over 250 bhp is not to be sniffed at.
As for the inside of the megane it's a big improvement from the 25 year old gtir.

Cars will always be cars but I'm after more reliability than horse power.
I have had a clio sport in the past.
    Great little fun car. .
    Thank you
